Loving Teas for a Day Event

Tea Meditation                      10am to 11am
Understanding the tea leaf    11am to 12:30pm
Tea Tasting and Cupping       1:30pm to 3:30pm
Tea Pairing with Chocolate    3:30pm to 5pm

Tea Meditaton

We discuss the health benefits of tea, it's rituals and why drinking tea can be part of daily meditation.  Experience breathing exercise and meditation that helps you relax. $10

Understanding the Tea Leaf
Come learn the history of tea. How the leaves become tea? Where does teas come from? The stories of Tea Leave Readings. This 90-minute class is pack with interesting information. We will look at teas from different countries.  $20

Tea Tasting and Cupping

Continue to look deeper into tea production and learn how teas are evaluated. How does the professionals taste teas? What is cupping? We will examine and taste 4 to 6 teas from the top five tea producing countries. $40

Focus Tasting
March class will be on tea pairing. We will discuss and sample tea with chocolate. What would make a good combination? $30

February 2012 class
As part of the Event "Loving Tea for a Day", in this session, we will sample signatures teas from around the world. 120 minutes class

Focus Teating by Country (no scheduled date yet)
These are series of Educational tea tasting class focus by country. The first class begin with China, then Japan. Other countries to follow are India, Africa.  Rating and classification of teas are different in each country. We will sample several kinds of teas from each country.
